What is Blossom Mental Health?

What is Blossom Mental Health?

Blossom Mental Health reflects a calming casual environment for clients to receive mental health treatment. At Blossom Mental Health, we offer a therapeutic non-judgmental place to come and find healing and treatment for psychiatric conditions. We utilize a scientific approach and rely on evidence-based research to guide interventions.

Initial evaluation

The initial evaluation will last about 1 hour to provide a thorough evaluation. During the evaluation, we will review your past history, presenting symptoms, past medication trial, current medication, if any and goals for treatment. Please plan to accommodate this time for a comprehensive evaluation. Treatment recommendations may include medication management, psychoeducation, GeneSight testing and/or recommended psychotherapy. GeneSight testing analyzes clinically vital genetic variations in your DNA. GeneSight results provide your clinician wealth of information about medications that may work well for you, are less likely to work for you, require dose adjustment or may have an increased risk of side effects based on your genetic makeup.

Follow-up visits

During the follow-up appointment, the plan is to assess medication tolerability, review symptoms and discuss your response to medication side effects (if any), and make medication changes/adjustments based on safety, response, and tolerance.

For your convenience, all registration, consent forms, signatures, insurance, and payment information are submitted and maintained electronically via a secure, HIPAA-compliant electronic platform.

We offer online, evening and weekend appointments to accommodate our patients' busy schedule. Welcome! Accepting New Patients.
